Language level B1 (CEFR)

Language level B1 (CEFR) means that learners can communicate easily and coherently in writing and orally in everyday situations as well as at work. In conversations, topics such as travel and one's own hobbies, family and current events can be understood. Learners can report on experiences, describe their goals and justify their views. Grammar and language are generally used correctly. The learners understand simple texts on familiar topics. Writing simple, coherent texts is also possible. The vocabulary is still limited and refers primarily to everyday situations and one's own profession.

Certificate German for Business B1

The test consists of a written and an oral part to evaluate the ability to communicate appropriately at the workplace. The exam tasks cover the learning objectives in reading, listening, writing and speaking. The tasks of the written test consist, for example, of reading or listening to texts and understand content related to common situations in business. Multiple-choice tasks, the assignment of possible solutions and mediation tasks alternate in this part of the exam. For the oral part of the exam, the students communicate with each other and with their teachers. The conversations cover profession related topics, others cover private topics. The written exam must be finished in 95 minutes, the oral exam is designed for a duration of about 15 minutes.

Learning in a small group prepares perfectly for the certificate. Therefore, the learning group will consist of 20 to 25 learners only. Further information is provided by the German Red Cross Academy Fulda online. Please use the form here to sign in for the class. +++
